Our mission is to improve the quality of life miniature ponies as they are often overlooked due to their size. So we want to celebrate the breed and give them a meaningful job. We aim to showcase our ponies by allowing them to help people to use their magic in all kinds of ways. Our ponies have the opportunity to provide equine assisted therapies to those with disabilities and mental health struggles.
We feel our ponies should be available to everyone so we have included adventure walks for all ages, pony parties for the children and tea with a pony for the elderly. our ponies will be attending events to raise awareness of how powerful they can be, not only in reducing stress, working through trauma, developing life skills and building friendships but also as a valuable asset to the community of Fife.

Trish is the engine of the operation! Always creating new and exciting ideas and keeping everything running behind the scenes. Trish created the North Fife Therapy Ponies vision and we are so thankful she is accommodating us on this journey. Trish oversees the daily care of the ponies, is our DIY master and business godmother.
Come and meet your pony and get to know their unique personality. Learn the basic of horse behaviour and how to lead your pony before taking a scenic walk through the Fife countryside with your pony.Bond with your pony during the adventure and have a photo opportunity at the end. This event lasts approximately an hour.
No experience needed as our helpful guides and volunteers with give you all the training you need. This activity is in groups of 4 so get your friends together to try something new. This walk is particularly popular with children as there is no age requirement. However, the walk can be muddy and is uphill in parts, so take into account your capability when booking.
This activity is perfect for ladies who like to lunch, the elderly or those with dementia. Enjoy a high tea setting in an enclosed garden. Tea, coffee, cakes and biscuits included. Have a catch up with friends while our ponies peacefully graze around you, but be aware they may try to steal your last slice of cake! Listen to our guides as they inform you on each pony’s personality and end the session with a cuddle from our ponies. This event lasts approximately 1 hours and is in groups of 8.
Make your birthday one to remember! Bring a group of 6 or 8 friends (we can accompany for more on special request). Meet our ponies and learn how to groom and pamper them. Add your own signature touch by dressing your pony up and adding decorations. Learn the basics of horse behaviour and how to lead your pony before having a fun competition with your friends through our obstacle course. If the obstacle didn’t tire you and your pony out, let’s go for a peaceful walk through the Fife countryside. Enter into our party space which we can decorate in a unicorn theme for you, or alternatively bring your own decorations and enjoy some pony themed crafts with your friends. Please note we do not supply any food or drinks but you are encouraged to bring this along yourself and this can be set up in our party space. Not done yet… enjoy a photo opportunity with our ponies with some fun props included! This event lasts approximately 2 hours and all safety gear is included (helmet, gloves, hivis).
Spending time outdoors and with animals has been proven to lower stress levels and boost mood. Ponies can also sense your emotions and read facial expressions. Let our ponies work their magic so that you leave feeling positive and calm. This is perfect for anyone with mental health struggles, or a disability. Come and meet our ponies one on one in a quiet and safe space, learn the basics of horse behaviour and horse car at your pace. This approximately lasts 30 minutes.
This idea was inspired by the popular goat yoga classes that are commonly seen. We wanted to try something different so we bring to you pony yoga! Come along to our relaxing yoga class in the Fife countryside led by our resident instructor, while our miniature ponies graze around you and possibly even join in! Book individually or with friends and if you have your own yoga mat please bring it with you.
Our ponies are available for other events such as at home birthday parties, visits to sheltered housing and country fairs. If you can think of an event that you would like our ponies to attend please get in touch and we can hopefully accommodate your request. For our ponies to come to an event there must be a suitable enclosed space for them (garden, enough parking for their transport).

Please note you will be required to pay for your session beforehand before booking is confirmed.
Although we try our best not to cancel, there does come a point where the Scottish weather beats us. Please dress for the weather with waterproof jackets and wellie boots advised. Light rain will not stop us but in the case of heavy downpours your event will be rescheduled to another day. No refunds will be given due to weather. In the case of a pony party, we will not cancel your booking but alter the plan of your day slightly to include more indoor activities.
